Job Readiness
Individuals can attend job readiness workshops that provide the skills necessary for success in a competitive
work environment. Emphasis is placed on universal work ethics, co-worker relationships, and customer service.
Individual interests and skills are then matched with job requirements.
Job Development
To assure the most appropriate employer-candidate match is developed, information is gathered from prospective
employers through an extensive job duties analysis, an organizational culture assessment, job sampling, and environmental observation.
When an appropriate employer has been identified, individuals are assigned an Employment Training Specialist who provides on-site
training supports and assists the employer with their routine training and orientation process.
Job Support
The Employment Training Specialist provides on-going follow up support and consultation for as long as necessary to insure job success.
The Employment Training Specialist also retrains if job duties change.
